Kase Avila Feat. Yibby & Remy Banks – Stay Blessed
Sydney based producer Kase Avila brings together Sydney artist Yibby and New York MC Remy Banks on ‘Stay Blessed’, a new collaboration arriving via Australian label Low Key Source on Thursday October 29th.
Known for his soulful, sample driven production, Kase Avila draws on classic boom bap, jazz inspired beats and smooth melodies, balancing the foundations of Hip Hop with a willingness to explore more experimental sonic territory. Previous projects such as his albums ‘Soul Calibre’ and ‘Minerva’ showcase his approach to beatmaking, built around rich textures, rhythmic patterns and a deep appreciation for the genre’s musical roots.
Joining him on ‘Stay Blessed’ is YIBBY an Ethiopian-Australian rapper who blends diverse old school influences with modern underground style to create his signature smooth flows and sharp wordplay.
He has collaborated with the likes of Remy Banks, Lord Apex, Black Josh & Verbz – sharing the live stage with Lord Apex, Black Josh, Redveil, and Oddisee.
Rounding out the track is Remy Banks, the Queens born rapper whose distinctive style bridges Golden Era boom bap with futuristic sounds. First emerging as a member of rap group Children of the Night before becoming part of Queens based collective World’s Fair, Banks has developed a sound shaped by the many sides of his hometown. Born in Jamaica, Queens and raised in Forest Hills, he remains a distinctive voice in New York Hip Hop.
Bringing together artists from Sydney and New York, ‘Stay Blessed’ continues Low Key Source’s commitment to connecting artists across the globe and building relationships between local and international Hip Hop communities.
“Stay Blessed’ brings together soulful Hip Hop grooves, warm melodies and laidback rhythms, blending smooth production with an uplifting, feel good vibe. A reminder to stay grounded, keep pushing forward and count your blessings” – Kase Avila
